Fork vs Monzie
This game was inspired by the first appearance of Mork, inside Happy Days "My Favorite Orkan" episode - and starts when Mork (renamed Fork in the game) reach Richie/Rick inside Arnold's, where he ran to ask for the Fonz/Monzie help.
You play as Fork, and your goal is to extract Rick from the building, while his friends try to stop you.
Use cursor keys to move, SPACE to shoot a freezing ray, and keep CTRL (or SHIFT) pressed for the control ray - that let you MOVE other characters until someone interrupt your concentration.
Be aware of your living energy (when you don't have any left, game ends) and of your power level. Using rays reduce the latter and when you reach zero you won't be able to shoot anymore, but it will be restored simply waiting for a while.

This little game has been created (using Defold engine) in less than 14 days during TV Game Jam 2019.
Everything has been done by me (specifically for this jam, within jam limits) with these exceptions:
- fonts (the low res one is from dafont.com )
- soundtrack (a free song by www.bensound.com)
- sounds (public domain sounds, slightly modified by me)

A big thank to TurianShepard for this video .-)
I love the look and sounds, and I'd love to try to beat the level, but ctrl+directions seems to conflict with various Mac desktop commands. It would be nice if I could map the control move to another key.
yes - sorry. I'll add a second (alternative) key for CTRL today or tomorrow at last. Thanks for writing me about that
if you still got time, now you can use SHIFT instead of CTRL for controlling ray (I hope this way it won't have side effect on Mac)
Oddly enough I've tried the game on my Macbook and even with CTRL I didn't see problems (but I'm going to update the OS now - maybe it worked because it was not updated)
Thanks again .-)
Shift works much better! Thanks! I'm still not good enough at the game to get him anywhere near the door. :D
eh eh .-) - I know it's hard
thanks for letting me know the shift works .-)
This is a lot of fun. I don't remember Happy Days being so violent. Maybe they should do a remake on Netflix inspired by this game.
ah ah ah :-) yes - they could indeed
Thank you so much :-)
Love it man! So great characters and memories!! Absolutely fun-tastic! More More!!
