A new C64 version of a "classic" IF masterpiece
Since a game I loved, The Queen's Footsteps by Davide Bucci, was recently released under GPL 3.0, I had fun studying its code and making a conversion for StoryTllr64 - my interactive fiction engine, designed primarily for text-graphic adventures for the C64.
Probably unnecessary work - a C64 version of this beautiful game already existed - but not useless from my point of view. A version with consistent graphics (though not decided by the original author, so certainly not perfect) could be a reason for a second game, and the conversion of the AWS code to StoryTllr could help further porting this text adventure set at the beginning of the last century.
In any case, I hope that someone will have the time and inclination to have a look at it - and if so, I invite you to thank Davide for his work as an author and for his decision to make his work available in this way.

Hi,
Your game is really good. The gameplay is puzzling and enjoyable, it's clear you have gone through a lot of effort into making it. Congratulations
